Tracy brings nearly 30 years of experience in executive search, retention solutions, and leadership advisory services. He specializes in the affordable housing, non-profit, community development, association, and middle-market sectors, establishing a proven track record of placing long-tenured C-Suite executives.
In 2015, Tracy founded BroadView Talent Partners (formerly HCGA Consulting Partners) after serving as the VP of Global Talent Acquisition for the NBA. Prior to that, he was a Managing Director at The Diversified Search Group, a Top 10 global executive search firm. His career began at Carrington & Carrington, Ltd. in Chicago, followed by a role as Senior Vice President at LaMonte Owens, Inc. He also founded and led The McMillan Group, a retained executive search firm in the Philadelphia area.
Tracy is passionate about delivering a positive experience for both clients and candidates, treating each with the utmost professionalism and respect. His keen listening skills enable him to provide tailored solutions that meet unique needs, contributing to his clients' long-term success and fostering a workplace culture driven by diversity and inclusion. He regularly advises boards on executive search, leadership assessment, succession planning, talent management, executive compensation, and retention strategies. As a dynamic keynote speaker, Tracy frequently presents on these topics at conferences nationwide.
An INROADS Alumnus and life member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Tracy is also a member of Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity. He serves on the Board of Directors for The Opportunity Foundation and the National Conference for Community and Justice (NCCJ) and is an active participant in the Jefferson Scholars Foundation National Selection Committee and the Fairfield Rotary Club. Tracy earned his BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia McIntire School of Commerce. He resides in Connecticut and is a proud parent of two grown daughters, Ariana, and CJ.
